Digital Information Technology (or DIT) is a rigorous high school level course. The grade achieved in this class will be carried to the student's high school transcript.
During this year-long course, we will be completing projects and tests to grow our skills in Microsoft Office. Students will have the opportunity to take certification tests necessary to become certified as Microsoft Office Specialists. In order to be MOS certified, a student must pass 3 of the certification exams (for example, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
If students do not finish projects or classwork during normal class hours, they will have the opportunity to come in before school to utilize school computers, internet access, and software to complete their assignments. Students must obtain a pass to enter the building before regular school hours.
